At London Compromise Agreements we are aware that cost is a key issue if you are about to lose your job.  Obtaining independent legal advice is a requirement of any compromise agreement.  As a result, most compromise agreements will provide for your employer to pay a set amount towards your legal costs. This is typically between £200 - 500.00 + VAT. We will endeavour to work within this budget, in which case your legal costs will be covered by the employer. This is not always possible if detailed negotiations are required to obtain the appropriate agreement for you. If this is the case then we will always inform you of the projected costs and keep you updated regularly throughout the process.

The initial telephone consultation is non-chargeable, so you will be able to get the advice of one of our specialist employment partners straightaway, and from the outset you will be aware of the full picture and have a recommended strategy.
